Another no thrills, no spills Heroes episode - Nathan and Claire are off for tacos and tequilla where la chucharacha car horns play in the street of course it's...MEXICO...where all the men are surpringly american teens... you really have got to love the writers subtlety and skill when planning this shit out.
Not forgetting smug nathan (whos so smart he forgot to lift his wallet before they eloped...i mean fled, south of the border) decides he can get money by winning a drinking competition with the frat kids, he ends up wasted and because claire's liver can heal it means she cant get pished, its excitement at its best!!
To top that we spend about a quarter of the episode in a church well-known for high times of action getting the same schpiel about Angela's past and Peter's hopelessness to get on with his life....dreary dreck, now it turns out theres ANOTHER addition to the Petrilli name maybe it'll turn out to be Sylar's future wife.......zzzz
To spice things up a new 'baddie' is introduced...well I say introduced but more like lazily shoved in...no effort was made at all to make any kind of big deal about him, hes seen once before (somehow??) he transforms into Danko...then Sylar (just to mix things up) before our favourite new character is shot and Sylar's got one more ability in the bank...and Danko and Sylar are now best buds...but seriously who didnt see that coming from the start of 3x20...
though I wont be surprised when the episode comes Sylar gets all hopped up on power and explodes....only for Peter to absorb it from Sylar and become explosive himself and then Nathan to fly in at the last second and fly....oh wait, its been done. oh wait, that hasnt stopped them before.
Sorry if I sound TOTALLY embittered and unamused but with these spoon-fed stories catering to fuck knows who viewing wise... but this was one of the most boring episodes theyve ever done, not bad purely because it wasnt REALLY cheesy like the horrible Exposed episode but just...nothing it was pointless
Sylar and The Hunter have teamed up, thats it, thats really all that happened in 40 fuckin minutes of my wasted life, the best bit was seeing Noah Bennet's face as the zipped down the body bag and there was 'Sylar' priceless...
How did the shapeshifter transform into Danko if they didnt even have any contact?? Stupid.
Also the 'transformation' thing looks SO bad.
REALLY unimpressed with this one.
On a lighter note; LOST on thursday and Whatever Happened, Happened it's a Kate episode so I'm not expecting much but anythings better than Heroes atm.

LOST
NOW THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!!!!
Throughout this full season I'd been pining for an ending that just left me holding my breath and it finally came! Last minute, no time to think WHAM! Sayid shoots a 12 year old boy and Lost cuts to end...
You cant make that stuff up, its genius ;) Better than the warm-lovely "we're fucked, but its alright" closers or the "we've tried to make this as shocking as possible but we HAVE been dropping hints all the way through the episode/season so it's not really surprising END" But this one definitely made me go :O!
I always really like the Sayid episodes cause they're always no nonsense, pure background, action-packed episodes and this one definitely did that!! Apart from the lame awkward introduction of Illana...the bounty hunter... but since we'd already seen her we knew "IT" was coming but just didn't know when and after some cheesy conversation and the ever obvious "girl in a bar" routine he gets a boot to the chops and taken down! Nevertheless it doesn't make me appreciate her anymore, there's no time for new characters who are as uninteresting and bring such stale conversation...but since shes on the island in 2007 now I guess Frank could drown her in the ocean...I'd watch 40 minutes of that!
Straight into the action with Sayid but happily going around shootin folk left, right and center but then we see its for BEN! And apparently the guys on the end of Sayid's vengeful gun are Widmore's peeps or are they??? Maybe Ben only ordered Sayid to kill golf course man because he knew Iguana would come and take him on the plane and this being the only way he'd come back to the island ;)
You've got to love how totally manipulative Ben is of all the characters in getting them all to do exactly what he wants and you can totally see it in Sterling Beaumont too (the guy who plays Ben younger) I really LOVED his performance as Ben in this episodes and thought especially the way he spoke to Sayid in his cell was just SO creeply like how Michael Emerson would do it!
I really liked the voyage to trip out city with Sayid tied to a tree telling them all what REALLY happened with that gleam of madness in his eye and whacko laugh - he did it brilliantly though I wouldve thought Sawyer wouldve been more talkative instead of just grin and bearing it...It was much better than the dodgy tranq drug scene of last PB...which lasts essentially for the full episode and fuck all is gained by it at all...
As intended this was a heavy Sayid episodes and all the various other goings on didnt really matter....trouble in the paradise of Dharma land while they all decide what to do with Sayid. Hurley makes a funny while Jack and Kate sit grumping about Juliet/Sawyer...dodgy dharma man Radinsky worries about his plans for THE SWAN and Ben the younger gets smacked around a bit for making sandwiches... (Pretty sweet to see Ben's dad again though!) Once again no sign of Daniel and not even a word of sweet sarcasm from Milesy boy this ep either...Strange cause I was kinda hoping Daniel was becoming the new Desmond after his major role in the opening episode but death of ginger 'chim-chim' has sortve fucked him up I guess...though THE VARIABLE seems like his kinda bag...
Though with all Daniel's talk of whatever happens, happens and this being the main philosophy behind the time skips ie. whatever happens in the past is going to have happened already back in normal time (2007) Does this mean future Ben, Mr. Michael Emerson is soon on the road out? What with his body lying in the infirmary after Locke returns (lying dead maybe??) I sure hope not! What with their definitely being something major around Widmore/Ben it'd be a shame for Lost to get rid of their only REAL baddie(?) it's funny to realise that despite being such a huge character in Season 2/3 hes only ever had TWO episodes "of his own" but that changes week after next with DEAD IS DEAD.
Oh btw next week's episode is a Kate episode so expect lots of "looking down at the ground" sadness and anger with the whole Kate/Jack/Juliet/Sawyer thing....you never know Juliet might just get pissed and take a gun to Kate's dome "THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS BITCH" ;) But...I doubt it, Hey! We might even get lucky and find out WHAT HAPPENED to Aaron, but...I doubt it :P
Anyway we'll see next week ;)
South Park was hillarious, probably one of the best in a while! Definitely back up to great standards, strong plot, funny characters generally brilliant!

Well, I caught Heroes in Uni since I crashed last night and when I tried to download it this morning my net was down :\ but let's hope it's back up and working for me when I get home cause...you wont like me when im angry!
Heroes...Heroes...Heroes when talking about it while it was on I gave it a 'decent' remark but the more I reflect on it, nothing REALLY happened. After the tearful exit of Puppetman last time we see that SOMEONE (My guess is Sylar) dropped him off in a nice big bow, so maybe Sylar is becoming The Hunter's own personal batman? ;)
ONCE AGAIN, HRG and Angela Petrilli have their secret meetings worrying about the situation and the need to take care of Danko/Look after peter-nathan. Also seeds of HRGs family life breaking down even more so I guess we have that to "enjoy" in eps to come...HRG also subtely drops the word that the hunt is on for her, coupled with some dream visions, she high-tails it! drenched in the rain she goes and sees Locke's mother and begs for money
Tracy busted out again, with the help of rebel, this time taking Mohinder, (where has he been?!) Parkman and Daphne with her. Giving the perfect chance for Parkman to do his closeup mesma-stare mind-rape again which is always so cringing it hurts.
It was finally revealed that MICAH was the person formerlly known as REBEL, but I'd said that right from the get-go, it really couldnt and shouldnt have been anyone else... I'm glad hes back though, hes kinda cool.

ebay is a fickle bitch
well after my strike of undeniable greatness in the world of ebay with 19 straight wins I have, finally been slain (no, im not being dramatic...the drama level is very apt) yesterday I woke up late...missed my first auction ending by 2hrs...the cd went for £2 it was a bit of a ball-sting and I had no one but myself to blame to naturally I went inside and went to town on the dog... :) the others I was were wanting went for insanely high prices that people were prepared to pay naturally I drove the price up like crazy charging people double than what they should have got it for but hey, mess with the bull and you get the bullshit :D
To television! The cause and solution to... all of my problems.
MY NAME IS EARL - SEASON 4 HAS BEEN EXTENDED FROM 22 EPS TO AN ASTONISHING 27 EPS THIS SEASON, NATURALLY I'M ATONISHED...thus the upper case. That puts to rest my previous bitching that what I thought was going the "finale" episode when I saw it on NBC.com (see several rants below) and how it didnt REALLY sound like a finale episode at all ;) how right I was!
Some REALLY interesting stumblings on IMDB.COM I was stoatin around flicking through various pages and stuff when I stumbled across the Heroes page and discovered some OOOOOOOOOOLD friends will be returning for the season finale 3x25 'The Invisible Thread' if you think about it hard enough its obvious but to people like me, it wasnt! So, now you know :D
3X20 is FINALLY airing tmoro and I've said my piece on this a thousand times already in other blogs, im excited, new writer, plot advancement total setup for season finale

ONCE AGAIN, American Dad trumphed Family Guy...
I couldnt even say for any real definicy (real word?) that this episode was better than last...I was hoping for an Anchorman parody and it didnt go that way at all...in fact we didnt even see Lois reporting any news. I envisaged her sabotaging Dianne Simmons career and taking her place aside Tom, that wouldve been sweet - it didnt really play out like that at all and most of it was back-and-forth unpleasantries between Brian/Lois about actually doing the job, once again the same old repeated gags (stewie gay joke) as well as....the whole 'mom have you ever felt...unclean' between Meg/Lois which theyve completely done before and for a brief minute I thought the episode had fucked up... I didnt find it funny or worth adding in at all... Peter's cartoon with Chris as well...didnt really hit the mark for me either and instead of being 'idiot peter being funny' just got more of a 'idiot peter, stupid plot' vibe, maybe I wasnt in the mood this morning but this eps got VERY few laughs, Cleveland with the australian accent was hillarious and I'm trying to remember any other parts I laughed at, the 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' run/fall with Lois was predictable, though the boob grab was a nice touch :P
...I think I'll come back to this one after I've re-watched it and maybe it'll grow on me but... all in all a pretty dismal episode I though, oh and another anti-climax ending....FG is just becoming more annoying with it's constant repetitiveness instead of using recurring gags as humour like they used to...

MY NAME IS EARL - SEASON 4 HAS BEEN EXTENDED FROM 22 EPS TO AN ASTONISHING 27 EPS THIS SEASON, NATURALLY I'M ATONISHED...thus the upper case. That puts to rest my previous bitching that what I thought was going the "finale" episode when I saw it on NBC.com (see several rants below) and how it didnt REALLY sound like a finale episode at all ;) how right I was!
Some REALLY interesting stumblings on IMDB.COM I was stoatin around flicking through various pages and stuff when I stumbled across the Heroes page and discovered some OOOOOOOOOOLD friends will be returning for the season finale 3x25 'The Invisible Thread' if you think about it hard enough its obvious but to people like me, it wasnt! So, now you know :D
3X20 is FINALLY airing tmoro and I've said my piece on this a thousand times already in other blogs, im excited, new writer, plot advancement total setup for season finale

ONCE AGAIN, American Dad trumphed Family Guy...
I couldnt even say for any real definicy (real word?) that this episode was better than last...I was hoping for an Anchorman parody and it didnt go that way at all...in fact we didnt even see Lois reporting any news. I envisaged her sabotaging Dianne Simmons career and taking her place aside Tom, that wouldve been sweet - it didnt really play out like that at all and most of it was back-and-forth unpleasantries between Brian/Lois about actually doing the job, once again the same old repeated gags (stewie gay joke) as well as....the whole 'mom have you ever felt...unclean' between Meg/Lois which theyve completely done before and for a brief minute I thought the episode had fucked up... I didnt find it funny or worth adding in at all... Peter's cartoon with Chris as well...didnt really hit the mark for me either and instead of being 'idiot peter being funny' just got more of a 'idiot peter, stupid plot' vibe, maybe I wasnt in the mood this morning but this eps got VERY few laughs, Cleveland with the australian accent was hillarious and I'm trying to remember any other parts I laughed at, the 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' run/fall with Lois was predictable, though the boob grab was a nice touch :P
...I think I'll come back to this one after I've re-watched it and maybe it'll grow on me but... all in all a pretty dismal episode I though, oh and another anti-climax ending....FG is just becoming more annoying with it's constant repetitiveness instead of using recurring gags as humour like they used to...

LOST...CONTINUED
So after 2 WEEKS of waiting for another LOST episode (in a time gap that felt like a month) I think it's safe to say we were all starving.
5x09 - Namaste..."Nama...what?", did the job. Taking us BACK (OH HO! THAT never gets tiring) to find out what happened during the plane landing (nice co-pilot killing) DEATH BY TREE. Some more of Lapidus which is always a treat...though he really isnt the same without his beard!! Gimboid new character Ceasar shows signs of mutiny and I kinda wanted Frank to smack him about a bit but alas... I really hope these new characters (the woman is so dull I cant even remember her name) dont play any major part and meet their fate with flaming arrow!
Some cool dharma past stuff including baby Ethan and Ben, the younger...a nice ending though as with all(?) of these episodes so far you (well, I did) sortve figure out the cliffhanger before the final moments which sortve, takes the "WOAH!" factor out of it a bit unlike some of the past episodes ie. Michael talking to Walt through the Swan's computer. I'm really lookin for that kindve hit me between the eyes ending again! Besides the fact we'd already seen Ben as a boy made it pretty obvious and theyve already done the "Im..."/"Nice to meet you " With widmore the younger as well as "Kevin Johnson" so not exactly mind-blowing.
Sun, as is now Season 5 tradition far from the silly wife character in season 1 she shows her true colours and kicks ben's ass. Jin finally grows a set in this episode too, which was refreshing to see as opposed having him just be a bumbling follower with changing... broken english. But the scene where hes holding Sayid at gunpoint was classic, and Sayid's reaction was priceless!
Also in this ep Jack gets shat on from a high height when discovering and EVENTUALLY REALISING that Juliette and Sawyer are bumpin uglies which pleases Sawyer no end as he sits proudly readin his book but it doesnt stop him having a wee gay wave to Kate. I kinda wish theyd just stop with this lame love Square thing between the four of them...I spose its catering to all types of audience but seriously...if you want eastenders plotline go and fuckin watch eastenders, leave lost out of it.
Having Hurley back was also pretty refreshing with his funny one-liners "uh...its 1977?...what?" he says what those who cant follow it are all thinking ;) brilliant! As per, Miles had his 3-word line, but his reaction to the "new recruits" made his appearance worth the while! What annoyed me throughout is that Daniel was talked about a fair bit (LOL especially Jack's very gay, loving "FARADAYS HERE?!?!" but...for some reason wasnt seen in the episode at all, same goes for Horace Goodspeed (wouldnt he be making sure his wife was alright?) but anyway we all know how much they like to have their time/scene gaps and then go back and fill it in so I'll shut my impatient mouth. I think this has taken us up to near the time where Locke returns to the island (or at least a few days out) since I wager Ben was placed in that recovery room after Sun knocks him out?...or maybe something else happens!! But next week Sawyer's gunna save Sayid's ass and no doubt some of the dharma gang will have somethin to say about THAT!

RHCP - come back to me
So I was perousing my LastFM account to notice that it actually does show my favourite bands in proper order or maybe it's just reflectin my tunes that I feel like ATM, yeah that makes sense, but eitherwho my top track was RHCP's Pretty Little Ditty and I was like HOT DAMN! I love that track, supposedly it was meant to be long but got cut down to under a minute at the last second...I call bullshittery!
John doesn't play as soulful as that again until By The Way, ...concidently I'm listening to Don't Forget Me, epic! I've heard it a thousand times and I'll never get sick of it! the solo always grabs me no matter what I'm doin in total 'MR. ICE CREAM MAN!!!' style. But as usual when it came to Chilis finally coming back round to Scotland, did they play it? did they fuck! We got 'So Much I' and a fuckin 30 minute jam instead...Thanks RHCP!
Since we're on the subject of Chilis - My copy of BTW and the Fortune Faded single arrived today but! Kinda let down with BTW's appearance in the end...I always see that album is really I dunno, sophisticated? for the chilis a lot of songs just have real depth and melody which they had in smatterings in other albums but not to the same extent before or after. The front cover is apparently a photoshopped painting or photo or something of JFs girlfriend at the time...his now ex girlfriend, thats gotta suck. I wouldnt say it struck me as being particularly amazing but it suits the feel of the music. Although the rest of it just looks so cheap and run-down, the printing is kinda shabby too onto this weird card-like booklet which has 'RHCP' on it and a lamb??? (symbolism?) whatever, the lyrics are printed all across a photo of the guys but in this small almost unreadable pink font which kind've defeats the point of having them in there but enough of my quibbles... Don't Forget Me/Throw Away Your Television/Midnight/Venice Queen etc. Its a great album!
The Fortune Faded single has the title track, with the b'sides Bunker Hill and Eskimo on it! Recorded during the 'Greatest Hits' sessions when they wrote Leverage Of Space/Rolling Sly Stone off the live album too as well as some other tracks that never saw release or leak... one called 'Desiree' springs to mind. Anyway these are both amazing tracks.
Bunker Hill is probably my favourite of the two; starts off with a drum n bass rumble similar to ..Television but turns into a surprisingly upbeat 'stoatin about town' mood with a total 'not-a-care-in-the-world' chorus and kick ass thudding breakdown too with general drummery though the full thing is flooded with rattlin' toms and hi-hat whispers think there's even some cheeky bongos on site too! (Chad Smith really is an unstoppable octopus of a man!) I really like JF's backing vocals on this one as well! Gives 'Otherside' a run for it's money ;)
Eskimo is more of a solemn affair with keyboard trimmings...it has a sort of sly sadness. With its bluesy bass-line and JF playfully picking warmly in the background. A seemingly peaceful chorus drifts before a thundering crash and AK shows himself in full form and belt's it out supremely before JF rips into his guitar with a screaming solo before ending with a bit of Flea on trumpet, a nice closing.
My gran was saying "I havent heard anything from the RHCP in ages!!" and she's right it's essentially been three years now, which is a scary fuckin thought indeed. The last real single was probably hump de bump but it never really got all that much attention...Desecration Smile came and went virtually unnoticed, with its stupid video of them hugging and miming and Chad looking scarily older and out of place I remember.
So c'mon chilis get back in the game! Last I heard Flea was teachin, Chad Smith's joined Chickenfoot...which is kindve worrying. JF released The Empyrean which I checked out a bit on youtube the other night....cementing in my mind that his solo stuff isnt definitely really my thing it seemed to have a lottve 'piss-about' piano on it and a monotone glumness that I just couldnt be bothered with at all...unfortunately. I want new Chilis NOW but! And none of these fuckin about with George Clinton tracks either, with his shrouds of black children singin in the background, just come back to my heart RHCP!!
ALSO - Some word on the BLS front... theyre touring USA just now, then ZW is going to 'knock out some tracks' for the new Oh...zzzzzz...y album. Just that expression "knock out some tracks" just sounds like he has nothing in the bag except his same old bullshit riffs and harmonics...in fact let's just wait and see how many harmonics he actually does I bet it'll be like 5, per second. Or he'll have his own track called 'Put you in Harm(onic)'s Way' and it'll just be a looped track of a harmonic for 3 minutes with Ozzy going 'AAAAAAHHHHH' so essentially what weve come to expect from Ozzy nowadays.
After the album hes going on a full tour with Ozzy (and BLS supporting) around the world...around the world basically saying...NOT Scotland so I'm sure that'll be riveting but the main thing I aimed to bring from this was if youre expecting any NEW BLS soon, keep dreamin, or you could buy 'Skullage'! Oh...you already have all those songs? Oh yeah, thats right, theres no actual point in it at all.

Oh yeah, Maiden-wise! I read a new interview with Adrian Smith which didnt really say that much only that if Maiden WAS to finish up after this last(?) album then they would all carry on...they being Adrian...and probably Janick with Bruce solo and to me, if theres no Maiden then I'll gladly take that over fuck all!
But yeah, new Maiden album is definitely at the forefront of his collective mind so they need to work on the tracks and go in and record it and get it out for the undying fans ie. me. But he says he hopes to get into the studio ASAP! Which kinda worries me a bit that it might be rushed and they come out with a bunch of so-so songs...but in realistic reality it's MAIDEN theyre so 'AWESOME!' dont comphrehend the word AVERAGE ;)

Since Al Brown whussed out
For your reading pleasure here's my daily dosage of bullshit!
In as little as, as many days Wikipedia and US television have joined forces to play a little game of hide and go fuck yourself K-Man. What with my staying up in sheer dedication thursday night to get a brand new episode of my name is earl, only to be shot down after hours of waiting by the trusty NBC site that warned me about 4hrs too late that it's been set for a week later...
Well guess what? It's happened AGAIN and this time with Heroes so after no Lost or Earl last week the TV goes the old switcheroo and decides to take away my heroes just as the buzz is starting to pick up, I call a severe case of bullshittery! But no doubt Tracy will get her moment in the spotlight next week, fingers crossed they just dont fuck with lost, AGAIN. Still no word on who's episode it is this week either but no doubt Jack-Attack...cause they like being original!
Well in true Family Guy style after one great episode comes a... not so great episode. The 'lost episodes' scene at the start... I didnt really get at all though maybe it's just to cover the fact OJ simpson is actually in jail now... but is it really that important to create a cover-story in order to preserve what little continuity Family Guy rarely ever has or needs? It's a cartoon...
I really love FG and this far in, this season already beats last but 7x09, which did have a strong, basic plot line with notorious 'did he/didnt he' killer OJ Simpson coming to Quahog. The scenes with him in it were the best! From Peter's always-so-subtle interogation on the golf course to the parody of Charlie Brown where OJ hurls Stewie like a foot...rugby ball made me chuckle. As well as another great as always appearance from Adam West and a nice jab at Matt Groening ;) and the obvious but hillarious where 'nobody' characters appear in a crowd of familiar faces! (Great to see the shifty salesman back again btw! "Did i mention this tank was a TANK?" ALSO - If you noticed, Bonnie is in the mob and shes pregnant?! :O so either FG made a whoopsy and there was an outer-body abortion LOL! anyway the extras appear only to be brutally decapitated and Peter casually concludes in total anti-climax "...I guess he did do it..." I laughed. However, 5 minutes of gold amongst stuff we've seen a thousand times before...
Plus I'm totally calling for a Kansas/Conway Twitty battle royale since they took up 10 minutes of the episode alone! Perhaps Stewie could kill him off (...how typical of me) or even better I always think Conway Twitty looks astonishingly like Ray Liotta's father (or what I assume Ray Liotta's father to look like which concincidently is a lot like Conway Twitty! But I think through the aid of digital imaging have them both appear on screen and have a tearful reunion and walk off into the sunset...instead of having this dead fuckin crooner dominate the airtime and ruin my fuckin cartoons with his country pish! It totally passed the point of being humourus at all when you realise you're going to be subjected to the full song...
All in all it's a pretty forgettable episode I wouldnt have said complete shite and I'll probably go back to it a few times...often with bursts of annoyance when Twitty appears and I forget...but once again American Dad trumped it. I can safely say that I'm enjoying Season 4 of American Dad a lot more than Season 7 of Family Guy at the moment...
It's definitely confirmed that FG - Starwars empire has been pushed back til season 8, though it's been announced that a table reading for the script of the JEDI episode I believe is (tentively) called Episode VI: The Great Muppet Caper (obviously a reference to how many puppets were used in the 3rd (6th) film and perhaps maybe a muppets parody!? I'd love to see Kermit and Miss Piggy as ewoks hahaha just a total guess, but you heard it here first remember ;)
A scary thought dawns though only 2...confirmed scheduled episodes next (on wikipedia) at the moment anyway we still have the Lois "Anchorman" Griffin, episode next week which... fingers crossed, as well as the Trek ep which I'm tryin to keep my hopes down for but it just sounds, looks and has the full cast for it not be great!
I really hope more episodes get announced soon but unfortunately it cant be long til the summer break...although mid April seems to be about the time Heroes takes another breather so that could well be FG down for a break too but I dont see why necessarily... Prison Break is due to start up back on April 18th it's final walk down the green mile so maybe my cartoons get a stay of execution too!
We can only hope.

The scenes with him in it were the best! From Peter's always-so-subtle interogation on the golf course to the parody of Charlie Brown where OJ hurls Stewie like a foot...rugby ball made me chuckle. As well as another great as always appearance from Adam West and a nice jab at Matt Groening ;) and the obvious but hillarious where 'nobody' characters appear in a crowd of familiar faces! (Great to see the shifty salesman back again btw! "Did i mention this tank was a TANK?" ALSO - If you noticed, Bonnie is in the mob and shes pregnant?! :O so either FG made a whoopsy and there was an outer-body abortion LOL! anyway the extras appear only to be brutally decapitated and Peter casually concludes in total anti-climax "...I guess he did do it..." I laughed. However, 5 minutes of gold amongst stuff we've seen a thousand times before...
Plus I'm totally calling for a Kansas/Conway Twitty battle royale since they took up 10 minutes of the episode alone! Perhaps Stewie could kill him off (...how typical of me) or even better I always think Conway Twitty looks astonishingly like Ray Liotta's father (or what I assume Ray Liotta's father to look like which concincidently is a lot like Conway Twitty! But I think through the aid of digital imaging have them both appear on screen and have a tearful reunion and walk off into the sunset...instead of having this dead fuckin crooner dominate the airtime and ruin my fuckin cartoons with his country pish! It totally passed the point of being humourus at all when you realise you're going to be subjected to the full song...
All in all it's a pretty forgettable episode I wouldnt have said complete shite and I'll probably go back to it a few times...often with bursts of annoyance when Twitty appears and I forget...but once again American Dad trumped it. I can safely say that I'm enjoying Season 4 of American Dad a lot more than Season 7 of Family Guy at the moment...
It's definitely confirmed that FG - Starwars empire has been pushed back til season 8, though it's been announced that a table reading for the script of the JEDI episode I believe is (tentively) called Episode VI: The Great Muppet Caper (obviously a reference to how many puppets were used in the 3rd (6th) film and perhaps maybe a muppets parody!? I'd love to see Kermit and Miss Piggy as ewoks hahaha just a total guess, but you heard it here first remember ;)
A scary thought dawns though only 2...confirmed scheduled episodes next (on wikipedia) at the moment anyway we still have the Lois "Anchorman" Griffin, episode next week which... fingers crossed, as well as the Trek ep which I'm tryin to keep my hopes down for but it just sounds, looks and has the full cast for it not be great!
I really hope more episodes get announced soon but unfortunately it cant be long til the summer break...although mid April seems to be about the time Heroes takes another breather so that could well be FG down for a break too but I dont see why necessarily... Prison Break is due to start up back on April 18th it's final walk down the green mile so maybe my cartoons get a stay of execution too!
We can only hope.

FAILED ATTEMPT
In my attempt to head bedwards I started schmoozing around Lost grabbing various tidbits and pieces and getting SO excited by interviews with Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse its unbelievable as well as sneaky passages from Jack, Ben and Kate there's definitely more magic on the island to come! They also spoke about issues in past new episodes with 'Aaron's disappearence' playing a major part in Kate's return to the island. And about how Jack feels destined and soon feels hes finally found a purpose on the island and also we discover that Ben might answer to people more than ever previously thought ;)
Also, theyve supposedly close the book on any story telling for Libby (Hi!) anymore even after leaving her in Hurley's psychotic flashback...what a cocktease!
As well as stating that Locke's really given Walt an out so dont think youll be seeing him again, at least for a while. Perhaps.
They really want to focus on the main cast at the moment who they feel are rushing to the show's end and still have major stories to be told.
Also expect 2 deaths, one major-ISH (guessing Miles anyone, Yes?) as well as (FINALLY) someone from the main lot who had just been told quite recently of their demise and it hit them...HARD.
Hahaha I'm so excited. Also: Locke takes up a throne, Dharma turns nasty, More of eloise please, faces are put to familiar names, Sayid gets a gun and deaths ensue!!

Hello! It's 10 past 2am and I'm going to talk about things NEW it maybe things you kNEW about already or it maybe be NEWly introduced things which are NEW and great.
SO since it was Thursday and there was NO new Lost after a pretty kick ass episode last week it was a bit of a downer but the NEW season of South Park started up...boy, doesnt the months just fly by but I bet you kNEW that already.
The season opener, was pretty damn great, between Butters panicking about Kenny's new GF, and Kenny over the moon at the fact she was a notorious whore the hillarious Jonas Brothers songs BAAAABY! And the psychotic public marketing mastermind behind Walt Disney that puts all of the little faggots in their place! ;) I loved it. A great start to a hopefully great season!!
Black Sabbath's new album cover was confirmed to be as my original post showed before only less foggy and more devilish!
I actually kind of dig it now...barr the silly banner which completely destroys the illustration in my opinion. ALSO apparently; if you look closely at the sides of Sabbath's 'devil logo' on the banner you'll see 25/41 apparently this has some sort of serious Sabbath-related significance but it's definitely yet to click in my mind and I don't care enough to be bothered with it. However, I am hounding for the album!!! *Bark!* It's been confirmed that their first single from the CD will be BIBLE BLACK so get ready to hear it on your radios/kerrang tv/chart toppers!!

Thoughts of any bonus tracks or 'special edition' releases were completely shot down by management at Rhino Records. However there was talks of PERHAPS releasing an Itunes exclusive track for their release which is a pain in the pisser for a law-abiding CD-buying afficionado like myself! I'M TOTALLY AGAINST DIGITAL RELEASES AS OF NOW. Oh, it's been a great week for TV since Lost took a siesta! With Family Guy and American Dad both hitting the mark and Heroes getting back on track, brand new season of SP starting, new My Name Is Earl AND Everybody Hates Chris on Sat... it's been a wee while, It'll be good to see it back!
An update on FG: Star Wars empire, albeit a not very exciting one but still, (the lord that is) Wiki states that this episode, originally slated as a Season 7 closer, is now lookin more likely to be a Season 8 opener by the way it's shown right now, but really details on wiki change like the seasons and this is probably just silly speculation as opposed to any REAL hard evidence since we're only on episode 8 (boy, theyre taking their time *NO MORE BREAKS!*) of this season and chances are theyll be likely 20ISH then I wouldnt be surprised if it makes a Season 7 appearance after all - there was also whispers of a DVD release BEFORE television airing (probably due to the fact the schedule of FG is taking so long) another shocking fact is that this episode has a SEASON 6 production code perhaps meaning they enjoyed making the first (FOURTH) one so much that they couldnt wait to get onto doing another! I myself, love them and am all for FG releasing it ASAP! DVD or whatever, regardless it means I can get a hold of it!
HEROES! I really have a treasure trove of details about what to expect, whats going to happen and details of upcoming shit etc. Here's a just a taste to prove the dying days are definitely OVER....or are they??!
Fans of Ali Larter (Jessica/Tracy/Barbara) youve got a treat in store cause the next episode is most definitely HER episode. And after major rumours that she wanted off the show and they were killing off a main female character, (rumours quickly denied by herself) Once again my perhaps soon-to-be saviour man NEW/OLD writer Bryan Fuller (who wrote this next episode!) says that there are big plans for her, with a shocking twist (with some big deaths?!) and a perfect closer to the season sees her heavily involved! *Personally up until this point I couldnt have cared less about Ali Larter or any of her silly personas past some of her stuff in Season 1, and her cool body-smash ice trick she's whipped out a few times - the story with her and the cloning seemed to be put 'on ice' WWOOOAH ;) and since then shes been nothing but a bad 'sneaky' polictical advisor with nothing to offer anyone except Nathan a bit of crumpet on the side. I say hang her high at the moment! Lets see how things thaw out in the next EP!! Doesn't it give you cold chills?!
Needless to say this next episode in my heart I know it's gonna be an absolute corker! That Heroes will REDEEM (< pay attention) itself to the heights of former glory.

Also there was plans to introduce a MRS Muggles to the main cast whether or not this was a joke or is yet to be seen has yet to be seen but frankly I'm all for dog sex!
Oh and in case you were depressed about Sylar's gimp boy wonder disappearing act since last weeks episode dont worry he's unfortunately... still alive... however it's unconfirmed if hes still around or just ditched like a cheerleader on prom night.
As I mentioned before we havent seen the last of clumpy baldy puppet hands man ERIC DOYLE his webisodes collection is set to kick off where Volume 4 leaves our Heroes in late April and hopefully this fills the void that a 'Heroes break' will produce. HERRO! SPOILERS/FUTURE SPECULATION
Alright! It's lunchtime in Uni and mega boredom has reached new heights so what else but BLOG IT UP. Cant say I have much exciting tales to be told but I'll try and improvise...
So I slept til 2am this morning since I came home from Uni yest having not slept at all and completely crashed out...literally. Ignoring all signs of dinner or 24 blaring from my comp, how I do it I dont know! But anyway since I was up I thought I'd check out what was happening with heroes cause the place was dead and nothing else was going on and surprisingly it seems to be picking up! I actually quite enjoyed this episode, it definitely seemed like a no piss-around straight-to-the-point story move along, which they really needed. Introduce Sylar's dad! And, no... it really isn't Arthur Petrilli, and although he isnt quite the sophiscated arch enemy killer I was hoping for and even though he looks like a homeless old man and he likes to dig through rabbit intestines...you cant help but love the crazy look and maddening streak in him sending a few grins my way! We definitely havent seen the last of him. Mrs. Petrilli too I really enjoyed this episode, and while Al Brown compares her to the decrepit Livia Soprano she really showed her strong, sneaky-sly attitude when dealing with The Hunter...over oysters! Piece of class scene haha. Another scenes I really enjoyed was with Tracy surprisingly... the scene where they drag her out of her holding cell and down the corridor, drugged up was pretty sweet.
Although while I appreciate the plot's sharp kick up the arse it seems like it's broken....Sylar's gimp boy wonder has disappeared?! (I couldnt be happier!!) And Hiro and Ando are looking for Parkman? though I forget what last happened with them... I dont think theyre gunna play the TIME card though, i'm guessing that this is Parkman's old wife's baby and she named him Matt much to the shock of Parkman...and Daphne!? :O hahaha I smell DRAMA. Speaking of drama, looks like The Hunter's kicked out and HRG's in as Nathan's right-hand man, Danko wont like that one bit but now he knows Nathan's Peter Pan he'll probably have something to say about it, although he's definitely got worse things to worry about what with Sylar lurking about his flat...hahaha can you tell the buzz is back?!
Puppetman says his goodbyes turning into a blubby schoolgirl bitch but he had his moments, the evil smile as he clumped away was a nice touch too I'm lookin forward to his webisodes, he was an alright baddie :)
Looks like theyre gunna bring the comics back in to it too, which I enjoy since Claire's joined Sam's store, pity no reprisal of Seth Green but hahah all the nerds creaming over her was funny too makes a change from greetin about everythin and lamewad 2 minute flings with rejects who cant act...

Oh yes, it definitely puts my miseries about no Lost this week to bed, still no word about whose episode it is next time around but both Sayid and Kate have one in the pipeline and since Sayid hasnt has much face-time this season yet barr his tree-huggin, fixin-houses im wearing shorts and t-shirt in Domingo routine. But I'm lookin forward to him more than ANOTHER Kate one....weeping over Sawyer, weeping over Jack...Aaron take your pick, C'MON JULIETTE just kill her. :)
As well as that SOUTH PARK is BACK on THURSDAY with THE RING seems like a Kenny central episode too with him getting a new gf he buys her Jonas Brothers tickets with hopes it'll get him somewhere but when the Jonas gimps give them abstinence rings (SP SEZ: THANKS FAMILY GUY) his plan falls apart.
I'm sure (hopeful) it'll be great, Kenny episodes are always great! I cant wait.

LOL its half 6 on sat morning and I've been up since 9am friday
WTF am I doing? I've really gotten carried away with online Internet banter with nothing much interesting really to report since yesterday LOL.
I'm actually quite enticed to getting the old myspace page running back full steam...WHY? I dont really know exactly since everyone's now deserted onto BEBO or facebook or Twitter(?) or whatever the next 'IN' thing is...wearing Kiss shirts? LOL that's definitely a trend I'll take a rain check on! Eitherway I'm always behind with these sorts of things! *plays world's smallest violin just for me*
So, as I said before NEW Family Guy returns on Monday and my general wikipedia snooping around has unfortunately also lead me to discover that there's NOT going to be a new LOST episode this week, for whatever reason, once again the U.S. TV boardmen have royally given us the middle finger...bravo Jerry Suave. But I guess you cant always get what you want "otherwise everyone would just sit around all day watching the poker channel, wanking and eating those expensive german biscuits" LOL! goddamn I love Peep Show.
Oh aye, this may or may not interest you but needless to say as always I was right, NOTE; my prediction for the latest Black Sabbath album cover and BEHOLD!

As I said; CROSSES ( see: jesus crucified ;) ) and a SNARLING BEAST? looking perhaps would you say...slightly devilish? thats right, I'm really just TOO good at forseeing the fact that bands who have been doing this sortve thing for many many years are now never comfortable leaving their safety zone and being unique and original, instead theyre just good...sometimes LOL.
Oh and perhaps a wee update regarding that GNR possibly happening stadium tour it is now also rumoured that possibly perhaps Van Halen will be teaming up with them too...having never being a fan of VH or EVH for that matter I cant say the idea thrills me but if GNR do swing their necks around this neck of the woods I'll definitely be there!
BLS are touring round America again next month so whether that means ZW's finished his 'Beserkers' film project now and is looking to focus himself back onto where hes most valued or rather, where I most value him, making music with BLS! After spending all his time with Ozzy and Black Rain...and then apparently making this film things have been sortve quiet on the BLS front although with the upcoming 'greatest' hits release it may just be an excuse for him to hold off releasing an album of new material... but we'll see.
Ep 20, of My Name Is Earl was actually pretty damn funny, and although it really seems to have lost any sense of flow, progression or any real sense of 'purpose' within whats going on since the middle of Season 3...that really doesnt concern me since it makes me laugh so heartily, I'm all for Earl and his seemingly never-ending list. I dont think I could ever get tired of Jason Lee and his fake moustache! However it being ep 20 outtve 22 and no future episodes/dates as of yet been released who knows where, when or whats happening all I know is I'll need my Friday fix and Earl does that void superbly!
Not much else to say atm hombres... whispers are that new film THE WATCHMEN is a pile of pish, despite the fact it was favourited to stomp over ...LOL... The Dark Knight - hah not likely! Also, Maiden day is almost not but a month upon us! Not really...but youre most welcome for the reminder ;)

IT'S BEEN CONFIRMED THAT ELECTRIC SIX'S SIXTH STUDIO ALBUM HAS BEEN ENTITLED: THE SIGN OF THE BEEFCARVER, in reference to an American chaaaain of resteraunts. Ironic since theyve always tumbled with companies like such over copyright with these things, McDonnelllzzzz and such - but I guess it must be such a shit-poke unsucessful, uncommercial business that its not worth suing either that or they feel the same way about E6 LOL!
So, album no. 6, is being released October 2009. Theyve come along way since 2003's Danger! High Voltage and Gay Bar struck the UK airwaves and everyone went ballistic (myself included with no trace of denial at all!) for their funky, funny beatz... HOWEVER, that's all the selfish cunts that are the British people remember them for! Gay Lincoln! PEOPLE ARE SOOOO IGNORANT! E6 are so much more than a mock rock cock band! They are a fusion, bringing the world of rock, pop and disco into a colliding force to be reckon with! With the smooth meister that is DICK VALENTINE on vocals. A man who has solely mastered the art of lyrical wonderment beyond belief! It is about time you all realise this fact and pick up all their albums in a stampede of deprived mania.

BLACK SABBATH'S THE DEVIL YOU KNOW IS BEING RELEASED APRIL 28TH, AS OF YET NO ALBUM ART HAS BEEN RELEASED BUT IT'LL PROBABLY BE SOMETHING SO IMAGINARY AND CREATIVE AND ORIGINAL IT'LL BLOW YA'LL MINDS TO BITS (basically expect lots of crosses, some old victorian style font and maybe a snarling beast perhaps looking a bit devilish and we basically have new album art)

My music collection is steadily growing by the day and I couldnt be more excited or happy with how things are going it really is so rewarding to see them all lined up, mounted high in the living room and I take great pride in spending an EXCESSIVE amount of time lining them up in order, messing them up, lining them up again and so on and so on... thats how I spend MY time. ;)
Guns N Roses are officially unofficially preppin up for a new full stadium tour of the globe...whether that means Hampden (doubt it, DITCHED) or not who knows but I'm actually quite excited by the prospect really...even though CD was overall a bit of a disappointment despite bravest efforts it sorta ended up into a mash of QUEEN meets Nine Inch Nails sounding tracks with Axl WAILING (see Scraped) over the top of them...it does have it's moments but it totally doesnt make the mustard at all.
Though if they return to Scotland I might have to put any misgivings aside after my FREE show back in 2006 where... even though they were 2hrs late on and Bullet for my shitentine ( < real word) were supporting, they still put on a trail-blazin show, Rob Finck OWNED Slash, performance AND presence wise compared to the lack-lustre of a somewhat diluted Slash since his heyday failing even to wap out the Slither solo with any sense of power or even enthusiasm....and after Libretard (never gets tired) and the exit of Scott Weiland (FINALLY) and the band then REQUESTING to be dropped from their label. They desperately try and keep any remaining fans clinging on to the prospect that they "have a singer in the works" while Slash is clearly more interested in producing a solo album...of which I have no interest and Sorum's too busy making clothes fit for poodles or some shit (LOL? I really dunno!)
MEANWHILE IN THE WORLD OF "HEAVY METAL"
THE 21ST OF APRIL marks "MAIDEN DAY" apparently, nicely coined by the manager no doubt to make diehards like me empty their pockets! And yes, I shall!
What it REALLY is, is the premiere and ONLY showing of Maiden's brand new documentary highlighting their trip around the world to the darkened side of the globe to places like India and Australia and such... places where the band generally ignore so it'll be cool to see some crazy, seriously-deprived Maiden fans from all across the world BANGLADESH their head (totally made it work!) to some of the Maiden greats! Hopefully it's not all just locker-rooms and plane footage though I've had my fill of footage of sweaty Bruce with dodgy teeth stoating around spouting air-nautical nonsense. HAHA, but no, REALLY come and see it, I'm sure it'll be full of crazy antics, drugs, and shit like that! ROCK AND ROLL!
Megadeth album no. 13? is drawing ever nearer to being done with 2 track names already being confirmed "1,320" Which is the length of a quarter mile in drag racing or some shit so you can no doubt expect some fast, thrashing metal and let's just hope it doesnt crash and burn :P
As well as the horribly dubious 'The Hardest Part Of Letting Go' *groan* Now, Dave MUST?!-aine has a penchant for these kindve pain-filled balladeering tracks for reference see: A TOUT LE MONDE, TEARS IN A VIAL, PROMISES, and the ever so original...painstakingly fun RE-recording DUET of A TOUT LE MONDE now all of these slow, pandering tracks - great if youre in the mood and also great if you want to put two-and-two together and make some funny Metallica heartbreak jokes ;) but we wont... my beef is I hope this track isnt one of those kinda songs and the name itself is so cheesy and lamewad it might as well just be called "Lars (I Miss You)"
but never judge a book by it's cover so the old saying is said and maybe it'll turn round and bite me in the ass...but it's not likely because I dont think it'll have any teeth at all!
What I'm REALLY buzzed about is GUITAR HERO: METALLICA I really get a kick outtve playing GH despite the fact I'm shite but alas it is pretty damn fun and a good laugh with the mates. GH: Metallica combines that idea with songs I've loved from since I was about 8 years old so yeah, I'm pretty fucking chuffed. Not ONLY that now but you can also unlock KING DIAMOND (HAIL!) as a playable character in all his glory: the hat, the microphone, the make-up(minus the inverted crosses incase the kiddies all start listening to Hanson and sacraficing their teddies)....Naturally.
You can also play Mercyful Fate's (King Diamond's old band) song EVIL as a support act! (And Thin Lizzy's Boys Are Back In Town too!) However, there was a problem when KD was asked for the master tapes so the song could be programmed into the game, they were unable to find them anywhere! A typical, sad story much like Dave Mustaine with Megadeth's Rust In Peace album... OH NO! So eventually what was decided was that the track be re-recorded especially for the game! So King Diamond managed to REFORM 4/5 members of the original lineup (the drummer is now a postman LOL) as well as a former MF drummer to re-record the track for the game. Now, MF have been in indefinite hiatus since 1999 so to REFORM 10 years later is pretty fuckin amazing in this fans eyes so not ONLY did they re-record Evil but another song (Curse Of The Pharoahs) too! Evil was picked as a better fit for the game but recently KD announced that soon after the game's release the two re-recorded tracks would be mixed and released as an EP on iTunes, NEW (albeit old) MF material, fucking JAMMIN. He also said there are definite plans for a new MF album and since this announcement their has been strong demand for a physical release of the EP too, so fingers crossed and I'm dying to hear how these new recordings turn out! The samples give me shivers! SKOAL! TY GUITAR HERO ;)

TV-wise...Volume 4 of Heroes sees the show spiral down to a new low, the script is bad, the acting is bad, the plot is bad and the show is slowly and slowly becoming to the point of unwatchable, it's boring, predictable and almost too cheesy to handle. ATTENTION SHOW CREATORS: THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU REMOVE THE PREMISE OF THE 'BADDIE GUY' wherein Heroes the supposed baddie guy has daddy issues so resorts on picking up a sidekick who seemingly does nothing more than irritate him but he wont 'dispose of' regardless....its lame, so much so I refuse to rant about it anymore if Vol 4 doesnt pick it's fucking problems up then Season 4 I really dont have any interest in seeing at all I'd honestly get more of a laugh seeing Greg Grunberg out of a job, begging on the street for scraps....pleading with LOST creators to revive his character...who was triumphantly mauled in the very first episode! Huzzah PAY DIRT.
24, is still kicking my ass so much so that I want to BE keifer sutherland...I dont think its obsessive, No. I did remodel my hair to match his though....it failed.
I really shouldnt delve deep into its goings on cause Al might never forgive me but yeah, it rules and YES I can see myself enjoying another 4 seasons!
FINALLY Family Guy returns FULL-PELT, NO INTERRUPTIONS every week from MONDAY until March 29 (confirmed) as well as AMERICAN DAD so that should definitely keep the laughs coming when heroes makes me feel like I want to cry and Sutherland makes me cry through my penis :) LOL. I'll tone it down.

I dont quite get the title in relation to the episode at all... but this episode sounds fucking GENIUS. There's hefty detail about this one... it guest stars the ENTIRE cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation LMAO! I wonder how much Seth MacFarlene had to pay to get all these guys but I literally cant wait for this one!!
*Fun fact: Seth MacFarlene has been in 2 eps of Star Trek playing a role as an Ensign LMAO ....CAUSE KNOWLEDGE IS POWER
Other hillarious episodes SCHEDULED but not confirmed is the THREE KINGS episode (3 Stephen King stories; One rumoured to be Stewie & Brian re-enacting MISERY) and Episode 420 which I have a feeling COULD air around 20/4 to concide with the cannabis cup and such in amsterdam...maybe but I hope I dont need to wait that long LOL. Maybe Stewie and Brian go on a bender?!? LOL! Awww..I have high hopes and this season hasnt really let me down much yet!

IT'S BEEN CONFIRMED THAT ELECTRIC SIX'S SIXTH STUDIO ALBUM HAS BEEN ENTITLED: THE SIGN OF THE BEEFCARVER, in reference to an American chaaaain of resteraunts. Ironic since theyve always tumbled with companies like such over copyright with these things, McDonnelllzzzz and such - but I guess it must be such a shit-poke unsucessful, uncommercial business that its not worth suing either that or they feel the same way about E6 LOL!
So, album no. 6, is being released October 2009. Theyve come along way since 2003's Danger! High Voltage and Gay Bar struck the UK airwaves and everyone went ballistic (myself included with no trace of denial at all!) for their funky, funny beatz... HOWEVER, that's all the selfish cunts that are the British people remember them for! Gay Lincoln! PEOPLE ARE SOOOO IGNORANT! E6 are so much more than a mock rock cock band! They are a fusion, bringing the world of rock, pop and disco into a colliding force to be reckon with! With the smooth meister that is DICK VALENTINE on vocals. A man who has solely mastered the art of lyrical wonderment beyond belief! It is about time you all realise this fact and pick up all their albums in a stampede of deprived mania.

BLACK SABBATH'S THE DEVIL YOU KNOW IS BEING RELEASED APRIL 28TH, AS OF YET NO ALBUM ART HAS BEEN RELEASED BUT IT'LL PROBABLY BE SOMETHING SO IMAGINARY AND CREATIVE AND ORIGINAL IT'LL BLOW YA'LL MINDS TO BITS (basically expect lots of crosses, some old victorian style font and maybe a snarling beast perhaps looking a bit devilish and we basically have new album art)

It offers no real hint of thrill or excitement but I totally leave that up to the boys themselves it cant be more of a disappointment than Black Ice so we'll just take it as it comes HMMMM? No judgement. If it's as good as the three DIO YEARS tracks they conjured up I'll be pleasantly satisfied!
My music collection is steadily growing by the day and I couldnt be more excited or happy with how things are going it really is so rewarding to see them all lined up, mounted high in the living room and I take great pride in spending an EXCESSIVE amount of time lining them up in order, messing them up, lining them up again and so on and so on... thats how I spend MY time. ;)
Guns N Roses are officially unofficially preppin up for a new full stadium tour of the globe...whether that means Hampden (doubt it, DITCHED) or not who knows but I'm actually quite excited by the prospect really...even though CD was overall a bit of a disappointment despite bravest efforts it sorta ended up into a mash of QUEEN meets Nine Inch Nails sounding tracks with Axl WAILING (see Scraped) over the top of them...it does have it's moments but it totally doesnt make the mustard at all.
Though if they return to Scotland I might have to put any misgivings aside after my FREE show back in 2006 where... even though they were 2hrs late on and Bullet for my shitentine ( < real word) were supporting, they still put on a trail-blazin show, Rob Finck OWNED Slash, performance AND presence wise compared to the lack-lustre of a somewhat diluted Slash since his heyday failing even to wap out the Slither solo with any sense of power or even enthusiasm....and after Libretard (never gets tired) and the exit of Scott Weiland (FINALLY) and the band then REQUESTING to be dropped from their label. They desperately try and keep any remaining fans clinging on to the prospect that they "have a singer in the works" while Slash is clearly more interested in producing a solo album...of which I have no interest and Sorum's too busy making clothes fit for poodles or some shit (LOL? I really dunno!)
MEANWHILE IN THE WORLD OF "HEAVY METAL"
THE 21ST OF APRIL marks "MAIDEN DAY" apparently, nicely coined by the manager no doubt to make diehards like me empty their pockets! And yes, I shall!
What it REALLY is, is the premiere and ONLY showing of Maiden's brand new documentary highlighting their trip around the world to the darkened side of the globe to places like India and Australia and such... places where the band generally ignore so it'll be cool to see some crazy, seriously-deprived Maiden fans from all across the world BANGLADESH their head (totally made it work!) to some of the Maiden greats! Hopefully it's not all just locker-rooms and plane footage though I've had my fill of footage of sweaty Bruce with dodgy teeth stoating around spouting air-nautical nonsense. HAHA, but no, REALLY come and see it, I'm sure it'll be full of crazy antics, drugs, and shit like that! ROCK AND ROLL!
Megadeth album no. 13? is drawing ever nearer to being done with 2 track names already being confirmed "1,320" Which is the length of a quarter mile in drag racing or some shit so you can no doubt expect some fast, thrashing metal and let's just hope it doesnt crash and burn :P
As well as the horribly dubious 'The Hardest Part Of Letting Go' *groan* Now, Dave MUST?!-aine has a penchant for these kindve pain-filled balladeering tracks for reference see: A TOUT LE MONDE, TEARS IN A VIAL, PROMISES, and the ever so original...painstakingly fun RE-recording DUET of A TOUT LE MONDE now all of these slow, pandering tracks - great if youre in the mood and also great if you want to put two-and-two together and make some funny Metallica heartbreak jokes ;) but we wont... my beef is I hope this track isnt one of those kinda songs and the name itself is so cheesy and lamewad it might as well just be called "Lars (I Miss You)"
but never judge a book by it's cover so the old saying is said and maybe it'll turn round and bite me in the ass...but it's not likely because I dont think it'll have any teeth at all!
What I'm REALLY buzzed about is GUITAR HERO: METALLICA I really get a kick outtve playing GH despite the fact I'm shite but alas it is pretty damn fun and a good laugh with the mates. GH: Metallica combines that idea with songs I've loved from since I was about 8 years old so yeah, I'm pretty fucking chuffed. Not ONLY that now but you can also unlock KING DIAMOND (HAIL!) as a playable character in all his glory: the hat, the microphone, the make-up(minus the inverted crosses incase the kiddies all start listening to Hanson and sacraficing their teddies)....Naturally.
You can also play Mercyful Fate's (King Diamond's old band) song EVIL as a support act! (And Thin Lizzy's Boys Are Back In Town too!) However, there was a problem when KD was asked for the master tapes so the song could be programmed into the game, they were unable to find them anywhere! A typical, sad story much like Dave Mustaine with Megadeth's Rust In Peace album... OH NO! So eventually what was decided was that the track be re-recorded especially for the game! So King Diamond managed to REFORM 4/5 members of the original lineup (the drummer is now a postman LOL) as well as a former MF drummer to re-record the track for the game. Now, MF have been in indefinite hiatus since 1999 so to REFORM 10 years later is pretty fuckin amazing in this fans eyes so not ONLY did they re-record Evil but another song (Curse Of The Pharoahs) too! Evil was picked as a better fit for the game but recently KD announced that soon after the game's release the two re-recorded tracks would be mixed and released as an EP on iTunes, NEW (albeit old) MF material, fucking JAMMIN. He also said there are definite plans for a new MF album and since this announcement their has been strong demand for a physical release of the EP too, so fingers crossed and I'm dying to hear how these new recordings turn out! The samples give me shivers! SKOAL! TY GUITAR HERO ;)

TV-wise...Volume 4 of Heroes sees the show spiral down to a new low, the script is bad, the acting is bad, the plot is bad and the show is slowly and slowly becoming to the point of unwatchable, it's boring, predictable and almost too cheesy to handle. ATTENTION SHOW CREATORS: THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU REMOVE THE PREMISE OF THE 'BADDIE GUY' wherein Heroes the supposed baddie guy has daddy issues so resorts on picking up a sidekick who seemingly does nothing more than irritate him but he wont 'dispose of' regardless....its lame, so much so I refuse to rant about it anymore if Vol 4 doesnt pick it's fucking problems up then Season 4 I really dont have any interest in seeing at all I'd honestly get more of a laugh seeing Greg Grunberg out of a job, begging on the street for scraps....pleading with LOST creators to revive his character...who was triumphantly mauled in the very first episode! Huzzah PAY DIRT.
24, is still kicking my ass so much so that I want to BE keifer sutherland...I dont think its obsessive, No. I did remodel my hair to match his though....it failed.
I really shouldnt delve deep into its goings on cause Al might never forgive me but yeah, it rules and YES I can see myself enjoying another 4 seasons!
FINALLY Family Guy returns FULL-PELT, NO INTERRUPTIONS every week from MONDAY until March 29 (confirmed) as well as AMERICAN DAD so that should definitely keep the laughs coming when heroes makes me feel like I want to cry and Sutherland makes me cry through my penis :) LOL. I'll tone it down.
